Yarra Valley Water, working with Manningham City Council and Maroondah City Council, will soon bring sewerage services to nearly 1,200 homes in the Donvale and Ringwood North areas, as part of the sewerage backlog program. Residents within the program have already received correspondence from Yarra Valley Water.

We’re interested in finding out what the Donvale and Ringwood North communities think about the current impacts of septic tanks on local waterways. You can have your say via this online forum between Wednesday 1 May 2013 and Friday 31 May 2013.

In September 2012, Yarra Valley Water submitted our proposed plan for the period 2013-18 to the Essential Services Commission (ESC) for independent assessment. The plan contains details on the investments we plan to make, proposed prices and price structures, and the services customers can expect.

The ESC will review the submission and release its draft determination for further consultation in February 2013 and then hand down its final determination in May 2013.

Before we submitted our proposed plan, we were able to hear your views.

Yarra Valley Water, working with Nillumbik Shire Council, will soon bring sewerage services to nearly 1050 homes in the North Warrandyte area.

In March 2012, we completed an Options Assessment Investigation into the potential wastewater management options available for the North Warrandyte Sewerage Backlog Area.

We ran this discussion between 13 March and 9 April 2012 to find out how the community feels about the wastewater management options recommended for the North Warrandyte area.

Thank you to all of the people who had their say about how the sewer system recommended for your area will affect you.
